Is Google just an empty field?

Google Maps has been enhanced with satellite images, so now you can spot how many trees line the alley or how many cars are parked in your street.

But from this satellite image it seems as if Google is just an empty field ;-)

Currently it’s only North America, some places are blurred out, and some have even been edited.

This is where the Danish Embassy in Washington is located. Wonder what that strange thing is just to the left?

And The White House has been “handpainted”

The Pentagon is however not “modified”

Take a ride with Google

…and I’m not talking about the rollercoasting motions of a GoogleDance.

Google Ride Finder

Google Ride Finder is a cool mix of Google Maps and real-time GPS positioning of taxis, limousines and shuttles.

Check out cabs near Google Headquarter

Google Ride Finder Google Headquarters

When I checked there were taxis from both Yellow Cab - San Jose and Checker Cab of Silicon Valley nearby.

And when I tried scrolling the map to find Europe I found this one:

I really really hope that Ace Taxi Service has amphibious cabs ;-)
